DAY 1: Quito
TRANSFER IN. FREE DAY. Accommodation in Quito.

DAY 2: Quito
After breakfast, a comprehensive city tour includes visits to residential neighbourhoods at the northern end of the city, visiting the “ Guapulo Mirador”, passing through the 12 of October Avenue up to the Culture House and the Legislative Palace (Congress) where the rock murals that are related to the history of Ecuador can be appreciated.

The tour will then continue through the Gran Colombia Avenue up to the Basilica Church, we will make a brief stop and next the “San Juan Mirador” will be waiting with a beautiful sight of Colonial Quito.

Walking through the colonial streets we will then stop at the Independence Plaza admiring the Cathedral, the Government’s Palace, and the Archiepiscopal palace. Furthermore, we will visit La Compañia Church where adornments and gold altars can be appreciated, a visit to the Sagrario Church and San Francisco which was built in the XVII century will be also done ( entrances are not included) Then we will be heading to the “Panecillo Mirador” (entrance is included) a beautiful place from where a sight of colonial and modern Quito will be taken. . Finally we will visit the new Sky lift complex(ticket not include)

THEN Departure to the north part of the city, taking the Manuel Córdova Galarza avenue which will take you to the equinoctial line. The French Geodesic Mission determined this line in the XVIII century. You will be able to “travel” from the south hemisphere to the north by just jumping. At the interior of the monument you will find an interesting ethnographic museum; then you will visit the handicraft shops. Return to the hotel.

DAY 3: Cotopaxi
Breakfast early in the morning to visit one of the Indian markets of the zone, either Pujilí, Saquisilí, Zumbahua or Latacunga (depending on the day you will travel). You will be able to buy different ceramic articles, handicrafts, naif paintings and, of course, admire the colorful attires of the Indians that are a very important part of the Fair. They barter among themselves and sell their products to the different visitors.

After this visit, you continue to the National Park of Cotopaxi, the highest active volcano in the world. You explore the bleak Andean plateaus and admire the birds of the zone or climb till the snowline and walk around the glacier. OVERNIGHT CLOSE TO THE NATIONAL PARK IN ONE OF THE OLDEST HACIENDAS OF ECUADOR.

DAY 4: Baños
Breakfast. From the hacienda we continue to Baños, a small touristic village, famous for its thermal baths. Here we visit the Pailón del Diablo's waterfall. A nice day to relax, Overnight in Baños.

DAY 5: Jungle
Breakfast. From baños we go to Tena - MIsahualli where we will visit the butterfly-farm. Here we will learn about the four phases of life of the butterfly, you can see monkeys as the capuchin. After boarding a canoe you will float down several Napo river until you get to our Lodge. We will show your rooms and lunch. In the afternoom you go to the jungle walking about 3 hours, we will know about the medicinal plants, trees and lianas.
Return to lodge were we will have dinner. In the evening we will make a night tour of about 1 hour into the jungle.

DAY 6: Jungle
Early morning breakfast, then departure on jungle trek (6 hours).The guide will explain to you the natural power of the plants, the rainforest, animals and life in the jungle.

We will continue to the waterfall of Río Blanco. Here we will enjoy ( lunch)
In the afternoom we will visit the indian community of Pacay Chicta we will see the preparation of chicha ( an alcoholic beverage prepared from yuca) and practice the “cerbatana” a blowweapon to shoot darts. After we will return to our lodge . Dinner.

DAY 7: Jungle
After breakfast we will make an excursion to the reserve Sumaco Napo Galeras, Lunch, in the evening will visit the indigenous community where we will enjoy spectacular typical dances, dinner and lodging (in the indigenous community).

DAY 8: Jungle - Quito
After breakfast, we sail by canoe to the creeks of the Napo river, course to the rehabilitation center of animals Amazoonico, where we will know several species monkeys, wild Guatusas, Cusumbo, Capibares, Sahinos, Tigrillos, Cats, Toucans, Guacamayos, Parrots, Pericos, Boas, Cayman, terrestrial and aquatic Turtles, Finalizing our visit, we will enjoy a Box Lunch, then continue our route to the indigenous museum where we will know more about the customs Quichua, and taste chicha of yuca, in our route we will visit an artisan center where we will learn how utensils and adornments are made (an ideal place to to buy souvenirs). Returning to Tena we will take a public bus to return to Quito. Overnight Quito.

DAY 9: Otavalo
After brakfast, and with our private transport and guide we will go to the northern part of the country. First, you visit Calderón town where you can find our famous bread dough figures; then, cross the equinoctial line, to Cayambe, San Pablo lake and arrive at Otavalo. Here, you visit the most famous Indian Market of Latin America which takes place at the Poncho Square and have the opportunity of taking photographs and buying textiles, tapestries, leather articles, carved handicrafts, etc. In the afternoon, you visit the cities of San Antonio de Ibarra and Cotacachi. Return to Quito. Overnight.

DAY 10: Quito - Galapagos Islands
In the morning a transfer to the airport to catch our flight to Galápagos. Reception & Transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon visit to Charles Darwin Research Station. Acommodation.

Day 11: Galapagos Islands
After breakfast, transfer from hotel to wharf, star of navigation at Seymour island, wich is a beautilful place to share the flora & fauna of Galapagos. Lunch on board and returning to Santa Cruz at 18h00 approximately. Return to the hotel.

DAY 12: Galapagos Islands
Breakfast, For the morning we´ll have an exciting walking where we´ll enjoy of a singular morning of sun and beach shared with iguanas and marine birds at TORTUGA BAY. Free afternoon to enjoy of the pool at the hotel.

DAY 13: Galapagos Islands
Breakfast. Free morning. It is recommended to know the levee and it is possible to acquired crafts and souvenirs, in afternoon we will make tour navigable by the bay in boat with glass bottom, we will visit here:

THE LOBERÍA: Small barren island of marine wolves, which are very friendly and they like to swim with the people, at heart of the sea there is a variety of invertebrates and fish that can be observed through the glass, and of it practices it of snorkel.

CHANNEL OF SHARKS: Observation of sharks and oceanic birds nesting.

CHANNEL OF THE LOVE: Formed by volcanic material.

FRANKLIN BAY: Here we will observe blanket rays, pelicans and herons.

CRACKS: Long walk of 15 min. observing birds nesting and own vegetation of the place.

BEACH OF THE DOGS. This is an optional long walk named by the great amount of crabs Dog thus along with the greater marine iguanas of the Island Santa Cruz.
Transfer to Hotel & Accommodation.

DAY 14: Galapagos - Quito
After breakfast transfer to the Baltra's Airport. Arriving to Quito transfer to the hotel. Overnight

DAY 15: Quito
Transfer out for your international flight or program extension. Transfer Out or program extension.
